Real investments
Most of u here understand the value and benefits of holding gold and silver. And I will continue to hold my silver for quite some time. I will even be adding ounces of silver here and there during the drops (looking forward to 10 dollar silver).
On the other hand, I am looking to invest in tangible assets that can act similarly to gold and silver, but possibly even better. I am thinking things that people will always want in the future, that last a long time, ect. I know handguns and tools come to mind. Maybe rice? Real estate is always good, but unless it has a positive cash folw it can be costly and not produce returns. Any ideas? where can I invest a few hundred FRN's a month and be pretty safe in the future? |

I recommend that you download and read The Alpha Strategy by John Pugsley. I think you will find it very helpful.

Re: Real investments
You want something that will continue to rise in value, buy AMMO. 9mm, .45, .223, 7.62x39 and .308. Look at how the prices have jumped in the last few years, it's just about tripled in price. It's only going to get more expensive. It's easy to sell also.

If you post a fair price on any gun forum that allows sales, you will have buyers all over you like fleas on a hound dog. Then there's gun shows and when you go to the range just put a sign on your windshield - "Call Shiny for Ammo..." |

Re: Real investments
Off the top of my head for investment purposes:
Ruger Mini 14 factory 20 round mags, oxycotton and vicodin, .223 ammo, CZ-52 pistols, Colt factory AR mags, good quality Mosin-Nagant's, Ruger SS Service Six revolvers in .357mag, copper plumbing components, 50 cal ammo cans, raw lead, primers, 1973-1979 Ford F150-F350 parts, 5-10 acre plots of raw land with quality nut tree hardwood timber on it, underground mineral and water rights, etc.... In my eyes, all these things have upside potential to them. |
